Everything I Know About Love: A Memoir by Dolly Alderton
4.0
“i hadn't ever thought that a man could love me in the same way that my friends love me; that i could love a man with the same commitment and care with which i love them. maybe all this time i had been in a great marriage without even realising.”
everything i know about love is a book that i think would suit us “new adults” with its unflinchingly raw and relatable stories off dolly alderton’s own experience. it explores more than love itself. it touches on life as a twenty something navigating the world on your own, the ups and the downs and everything in between that comes with the title “adult”. reading this when you’re in your early 20s feels somewhat essential almost eventhough i didn’t relate much to alderton’s own experiences but i definitely did when it comes to her friendships
