“An absent archaeologist, a housekeeper, a librarian, a gar-dener, a retired actor, and three unlikely witches. As backstories went, it was one of the weirdest Mika had ever heard.”

This was a great witchy, fluffy, fun book. Think themes of practical magic meets the house on the cerulean sea.
I really enjoyed the quirkiness of the characters at Nowhere house and the interesting man or in which magic was depicted in the book as almost its own character.

We had of course some fun romance (grumpy x sunshine) plus some LGBTQI representation.  And some good little twists and surprises in the book that did keep me guessing.

My only meh point was the curse on witches. It was talked about a lot and I understand why it was used but i felt we had no resolution or closure.

Highly recommend if you are after a nice modern day witchy book with some fun.
