After reading a few Linwood Barclay's I'm beginning to see a pattern emerging in the writing style, characters and plots. As in, they are all quite similar. This isn't a bad thing really, but it does put a damper on the tension and shock that is felt while reading.

Fear the Worst in particular was enjoyable, there were a few twists that I didn't see coming, maybe a few 'coincidences' which in retospect were stretching it a bit, still, I enjoyed it.
