Disclaimer: I downloaded a free copy of the book during a promotion for the book. The Thoughts, opinions & feelings expressed in the review are however, my own.
Ravi Dabral's debut novel is an amalgamation of two very diverse genres that, as a reader, you wouldn't actually think would work but somehow this new author makes it work and does so absolutely wonderfully.
Greed Lust Addiction; as the titles suggest, has the plot's bare bones in the hedonistic pleasures that rule our lives today, be it our personal, professional or even in the wider political scenario, not just the situation in our country, but worldwide.
Two brothers - two very individually opposite personalities; is reminiscent of how grey this world is when it comes to distinction between good and bad. I loved how the author has tried (and succeeded at times) to make both the brothers - one who would be considered the epitome of goodness while the other is ruled by his hedonistic and selfish desires - quite relateable.

As a reader, it is quite easy to recognize parts of myself in both the brothers - and I know most readers will as well - but there were times though when the plot seemed to run away from the author; but never enough that it distracted me or made me lose focus of the book itself.
The climax of the book reads like a typical bollywood drama - yet somehow manages to retain the charm of the book that caught your attention at the start of the book.
If you adore investigative thrillers; adore philosophical ideologies mixed into the plot that makes you think and ponder? Then Greed Lust Addiction is definitely a book you need to pick up!
