I won't give this book a low rating because its topic and characters are well-written; unfortunately, the pace and tone aren't quite right for me. It's just too bland at times, too sloppy in others, and it's making me want to read the book even less. I hope to read this book again someday when I am ready to read about healing a shattered, dusty friendship.
