Mayflower: A Story of Courage, Community, and War by Nathaniel Philbrick
Did not finish book. Stopped at 85%.
It's just so upsetting. And so slow. I knew going in this would be an upsetting account of the history of the US but I didn't know just how kuch of this book would be about how the puritans slaughtered everyone everywhere they went no matter what, then convinced themselves they were right and God loved them. I just can't. I feel like I should know this but I just can't finish this.
Graphic: Genocide, Gun violence, Suicide, Blood, and War
