This book is such a solid and true mystery. You suspect when French wants you to suspect, you discover when French wants you to discover, you are both pleased and upset with the outcome, but you know it could have never ended any other way. The Woods does fall into one of my most despised cliches where men and women actually can’t just be friends, but I have already forgiven it for that.
