For Katee Robert, this was pretty tame. The characters were a bit flat but likeable enough. Honestly this was not a bad book, but coming from her wicked villains series, this was a lot more “stereotypical mafia romance” than I was expecting from this author. I have 5 physical books from this series (thanks to book outlet) so I’ll keep reading and see if maybe they get better as the series goes along.
