full disclosure, i saw the movie blade runner first and didn’t even know it was based on this book until recently, so naturally i had to read it because i loved the movie. and of course, this is definitely an instance where “the book was waaaay better” for me. i liked the direction the book went as opposed to the movie (at least the first one, i haven’t seen 2049 yet) and the deeper layers of thinking i did, made it such an enjoyable and thought-provoking experience. highly recommend! i’ll definitely be reading more of his work!
