Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
5.0
The first time I tried to read this, I was six. Couldn't even figure out what half the words were, and gave up on page two.
I don't remember the second time I tried, and I don't remember how many times total I've read it up to now. I had to do a re-read because of the movie adaptation that came out recently, and it's just as good a book as always. For me, this is one of the books through which I understand myself and the world. It's always with me, in a sort of ominous but also comforting way, and I'm sure I'll re-read it regularly until the day I die.
