The only downside maybe is the length of the story, because IMHO, too short.

Mistlefoe's happen after the event of "That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon" (yeah, I know. Such a handful title). But, even you don't read the first, you still can catch up the story. I think this novella (or IMHO, more like novelette because its length) have many aspect that work. Sarcastic heroine and a suave hero who loved her, with more sarcastic talking sword called Alexis. It have Lemming trademark (if you have read her debut book) and actually the story pretty fun to read. It's just, I hope for more character development and more romance between Ruby and Lucca. Because, while fast romance is no stranger for me, I think their relationship moving too fast.

Although the content warning mention light BDSM, in my opinion, it's not BDSM per se, lol. But, still appreciate the warning since I know people mileage may varies. The sex scene is steamy and Lemming sure know what she's doing, but again, too short. I would love to read again about Ruby and Lucca in the future. Also, Alexis is a hoot. Like, who doesn't want a trash-talking sword that also didn't shy away to voice her perversion desire?

If you want to read a short romantic fantasy, Mistlefoe is worth to read, especially if you want to read it in one sitting.
