Audiobook. This book was fine. I wouldn’t tell someone not to read it but I also don’t feel the need to pick up book two. I liked the island/world as people can speak to the trees and wind. However, every single character was annoying and whining. I hated them all except one and wasn’t rooting for anyone. The author also repeated descriptions over and over again. Show me rather than tell me a gazillion times.
