Inferno by Dan Brown

2.0

Dan Brown does his homework. He does a lot of research on the locations, artwork, quotes, brands and history. He is a master of pacing. His style is engaging. I acknowledge that. But his characters are devoid of soul, clichés of pretentious perfection, his descriptions are taken from a Michelin guide, his twists feel completely forced, and some situations are resolved deus ex machina. An "airport book".
