Easily my most anticipated holiday read of the year because of the tagline alone, Corporate Mandated Holiday Romance did not disappoint.

We follow Brooklyn, the newest marketing employee at ConservTech. She’s only followed the company’s CEO since college, excited for the chance to work for him and what he stands for. However, things aren’t exactly what they seem at the supposed environmentally friendly company. That’s where Max, a Jewish journalist, comes in. Together, they may be able to break a huge story while falling in love.

Everything about this novella was perfect. From taking down a billionaire to how Brooklyn does her best to learn more about Jewish holidays and culture, this was the best holiday read for people who also believe there is no such thing as an ethical billionaire. Though we get a HEA, it comes from the maturity of Brooklyn and Max realizing they needed to go through some things as individuals before they could come back together. And, I love me some realistic and mature discussions.
