Took me a bit to get into, but then it was so much fun!! I liked how the plot was exciting while also having great characters and well developed relationships - I would've liked a bit more background for Iris and Nora, but I loved the friendship between Nora, Wes and Iris, as well as Nora and her sister. Simply wonderful <3
Nora is a complex character and a fun to read about protagonist. Exploring her backstory was harrowing and thrilling at the same time. The build up to what actually happened was really effective. Also I want Nora to please live happily ever after at some point, she's been through too much. ... She also reminded me of Neil Josten from the All For The Game series, these two would understand each other really well, I think. Maybe they should start a support group or something.

Sometimes the writing was a little too "edgy" for me, Idk what better word to use here. But tbh it's just fitting for Nora and this type of YA thriller. I think I'm just a little too old for it to work perfectly for me, I would've been obsessed with the writing as a teenager.

Two short things before I end this review:
- This book was so obviously written by a woman and I loved it.
- I was really happy to see that psychotherapy, while only appearing in one scene, was for once well-represented. It actually was good therapy. In a thriller! Can you believe?? Psychotherapy is often represented in a way that reinforces stigma in my opinion, not only but especially in thrillers. It was really nice to see it well done for once.
