I'd give this one 2.5 stars if I could, since I liked it better than the 2nd one but not as well as the first. They definitely are pattern-plot books, very predictable but entertaining nonetheless if you like whodunnits. But don't expect any of this to win a Pulitzer anytime soon (obviously). If you are looking for an easy, entertaining read, though, these fit the bill.
