What a ride. Not that I want to compare him to his father, because his work clearly stands on its own, but this felt like classic King to me.
The world building and characters all felt real and different enough from each other so that it felt unique.
The whole Christmasland wraparound setting was so cool. Same goes for the shorterway bridge.
I loved the references to some of his other works and his father’s works.
I felt like some parts could have been shortened up, where this is a real long book, but overall the length didn’t bother me.
