This was such a fun read and knowing that it contains some real life stories from the author's father made it an even more enjoyable read. I loved reading about the friendship between Smokey and Do What and the good they both saw in each other and others. Cinder Bottom feels like a town where not only does every one know each other but also looks out and appreciates one another.

GONE MISSING is packed with adventure and ensures the reader stays just as curious as Smokey does. I'll admit that I cried at the end which is always a sign of a great book in my opinion. I look forward to continuing adventures with Smokey and Do What!
