I thought it was okay. It’s so short and fast-paced that you don’t really understand the characters beyond a surface level. I was hoping for a more atmospheric vampire story but this book is more the last of us (tv show, derogatory). The writing is decent so I’ll probably read more but if you’re looking for a vampire novel you can sink your teeth into, I’d look for another.
