Herland by Charlotte Perkins Gilman
2.0
If I'm being perfectly honest, I found this quite dull to get through. I have read The Yellow Wallpaper, and found it considerably better, so I'm assuming that is where Charlotte Perkins Gilman peaked and why she is not known for any of her other works. I didn't even find this to be particularly insightful, especially because Gilman continued to perpetuate the idea that all women are good for is motherhood. However, I can appreciate the courage it takes to write about an all-female utopia that is portrayed to be significantly better than the outside world.
