Loyalty in Death by J.D. Robb

5.0

A breathtaking book with a lot of twists and progress about the characters. I totally loved it !!
For once, Lieutenant Eve Dallas mustn't face a murder or at least not a mere one. She is confronted to the prospect of thousands of deads when a terrorist group named Cassandra threatens to put NYC to fire and the sword. It's in a unbridled time trial that Eve is tangled where appearances are more than misleading.
I totally loved the plot that was much much better than in the book before: it's panting, twisted, freaky and when you think it's over, there is a new twist !! It was AWESOME !
I love the New York of the future that the author depicts: there are many details and small anedoctes that make the city lively and awfully real !!
I loved meeting Zeeke, Peabody's brother with his whole Free-Ager philosophy but the thing I loved MOST is seeing Peabody FINALLY make out with McNabb >< I sooo hope they will carry on because they are soo cute together (and I 'm such a huge fan of Peabody x) )
Only one flaw: the death of Anne Maloy. At the very moment she said she was pregnant, I knew that the author was going to kill her. This is THE cliché and I was a little disappointed that the author uses it.
Still a book to read !!
