The Rooster Bar by John Grisham

I am unimpressed with the story. While there is some potential there, I find the story unsatisfying. You can simply delete half of the book and have the same story basically unchanged.

It is interesting to see how punishing the school debt that american students accumulate can be. It's interesting to see that this is inspired from reality - that there is a scam - a legal scam - with law schools that prepare failing students (in fact, there probably is with most schools there). But at the end it was all... meh. There's a lot of red herrings and running around in circles, and, in the end, some guys got some money and they left the country. Ooook. Huh. Fine. Mke. Not impressed.

Other than that, the writing is good, and it's easy to read. But I wouldn't recommend this one.
