I wasn't excited to come back to reading it. The writing wasn't bad, just didn't look forward to reading it which is what helps me finish a book.  I did finish the book ultimately and for a while I was cool with it, and then it fell back off at the ending. I had a complex relationship with this book that I don't think I wish to explore further.
