Reading this was almost exactly like watching an episode of Criminal minds, maybe like one of the two part episodes. We follow FBI agents that are banished to PAR (patterns and recognition) for not conforming to the societal expectations and politics in the FBI, sort of like a group of Dr. Reids, each with their own pattern based super abilities. The entire book was fast paced and clever, if you even remotely enjoy Criminal Minds this is the book for you. The audiobook was also really well done and the narrator does a great job of embodying the main character. This is listed as the first in a series so I will definitely be continuing.
Thanks to Netgalley, John McMahon, and Macmillan Audio for this ALC that I chose to listen to and review
