I'm sorry but I had a really hard time following this one. There was a lot going on and I kept having to go back and jump ahead looking for visual clues (color schemes and drawing style) to figure out the time-line/story thread. Don't get me wrong, this book is beautiful! ... it just felt like too many stories within the story. I enjoyed the many diverse Cinderella stories and I thought the story of the boy and his mom was touching and real, as well as the lament of the daughter with her mom, but all those together (plus more) was boggling. But don't let my limited brain power deter you from reading!
