The Maid and the Crocodile by Jordan Ifueko
4.0
being back this world… I’ve missed it.
I love how we experience it from a commoner’s perspective since I felt we were always lacking the average person’s pov in the original duology. The magic of cleaning (loved it), the found family, the animal companion, and the way disability is represented is very well done.ZURI I loved his character arc here I always felt like it was incomplete by the end of Redemptor
Small Sade is another fleshed, dynamic MC, her voice is very prominent and distinctive. I love her bickering with the Crocodile but I wasn’t 100% into her romance with him. Idk something was missing, kind of felt like insta love at times 😭
Seeing some of the characters from the duology show up… I screamed, miss them bad.
