This was a fun enemies to lovers inheritance story! It was over the top ridiculous at times, but that's what made it so much fun. It is so ridiculous that it could actually happen. I loved the community in this book. The Aunties always came through even if they were just causing trouble. I also learned a lot about South Asian culture, and I loved it!

Kareena and Prem meet at a bar on Kareena's 30th birthday and have an instant connection, but that connection is snapped when Prem leaves Kareena in an embarrassing position, literally. The banter between Kareena and Prem is a 10/10. I laughed out loud a few times. 

Kareena is fabulous. I loved her determination and her smart mouth. I also appreciated her drive to keep sentimental things, like her mother's car and her mother's house. You could tell that Kareena and her mom were super close. 

While Prem can be a douche at times, he redeemed himself in the end. I felt for him and about being scared of getting in another relationship. He lost someone, which in itself was tragic.
