Colossus by Ryan Leslie

Thank you to BookSirens for the ARC, and apologies to the author for my late review. Life, y'know?

This book was brilliant. I loved it. I was confused and intrigued and angry and excited and so many things all at once. It starts off pretty much as a sci-fi on a spaceship, but it is so much more than that. This is up there with my absolute favourite works of science fiction, and I cannot wait to get my friends to read it too.

The characters were so curiously imperfect. Each part of the book brought new and brilliant things with it. I was about to say my favourite part was part two, Oberon, but I feel very unsure as to whether I can commit to that - it was all really well-written and so engaging.
