While this book deals with a heavy topic it is minimally broached and strictly in context with the story. There aren't any graphic scenes concerning the topic. The main characters are a fun group of caring adults who camp together. That is what I love best about this series. The friendship and love mixed in with camping. It's not their fault that bodies are found near them or, in this case, someone goes missing. There are several camping tips and recipes at the end of the book. Check those out especially if you want to try the food mentioned in the story.
Minor: Child abuse, Trafficking, and Kidnapping
