Edit: Ok, I've come back to my senses. It's a 5. Buuut it took me three years to finish this book because I got a spoiler about his death 60% of the way in so forgive me for being touchy about it


Would have been 5 stars if it weren’t for Matthias’ death. Really ruined the book for me tbh
