3.0

Pros:

1. I appreciated the antihero approach to Lucy -the main character- it’s very well done.

2. Grandma is BY FAR the most enjoyable character to read/listen to, and I would absolutely read another book if this focused on her.

3. The podcast was VERY well threaded into the book. It felt like I was listening to an old-school nighttime, radio program!

4. I love that Lucy
Beat Emmitt up, and injured him instead of killing him. He deserved it and MORE!

Cons:

1. The pace dragged out longer than it had to, and then sped up so quickly, and it felt like the author was tired of her story too hahaha

2. Towards the end of the story you can pretty much guess who killed Savvy, and it makes for an underwhelming reveal once that person admits it.

3.
I REALLY wish Matt had gotten some kind of larger punishment. He still abused Lucy, she’s REFUSING to tell the public that he was, and it just felt like he got away with being a horrible person.
