Reread of 2023. Yep. Love it even more on the reread.

I’ve been in a reading slump and I finally picked this one up.

Based on Persephone and Hades, Nancy enters a doorway to a different world, but is thrust back into our world.

Feeling like she doesn’t belong, she ends up at a school for other people who have also gone through doors to other worlds.

A bit of magic, a lot of Alice in Wonderland, murder, darkness, funniness - with some great representation this novella was exactly what I needed to get back into books.

I am picking up the second right away and have already recommended this to a friend.
