I ended up really getting into this one. At first, I started reading it just to remove it from my physical tbr. But somewhere along the way it became a part of me. It dig into my soul a little. The sisters were so unique, and I enjoyed their journey. I was even happy with the ending (even though there was nary a love story in sight!) because at the end of the day, it’s a story about the bond between sisters and the bond between mothers and daughters. As a mom of two daughters, I probably felt more.
Great read.
Recommend if you like lit fic with a touch of magic. This is not for those who want high magic or no magic.
