Jessica Jones: The Pulse: The Complete Collection by Brian Michael Bendis
4.5
It speaks really well of this series that even though much of it was tie-in issues to events I didn't read, I still really enjoyed it. Ultimately, I just love hanging out in the street level superhero-adjacent version of New York that I can almost believe exists when I've been there.
It wasn't flawless - the artists revolved, and while some, like Michael Gaydos, were exceptional as ever, others were a little less impressive. And some of Luke Cage's dialogue hasn't aged well and felt a bit cringey. But I had a great time hanging out in the City with these characters and I would wholeheartedly recommend this series to anyone who liked Alias, or who likes Marvel's characters and setting, but gets a little burned out on endless crossovers, or the Universe-ending scale events of which they're so fond.
