The 5-Minute Bible Study for Women: Mornings in God's Word by Annie Tipton

The layout for this book is very easy to follow. Within each day we have our Key Verse which is the Bible reading then a section that breaks down the meaning called Understand. Next there is Apply which illustrates how you can apply the lesson to your life, closing out with the section called Pray which is a guided prayer for you to pray.

Overall I enjoyed this. There were a lot of great nuggets in here. It was bite size and well written. There was a lot of what I refer to as "guilt talk" though. I understand that many religious works use this to try to help the reader feel more connected for their feelings, but at the same time it always feels demotivating and pulls me if I personally do not relate to that. It is especially important to note that when the prayer is used in first person. Like God knows where I am. God knows where the reader is. Small, but thing to note before you decide if you want to add this to your morning routine.
