Bury this book. Although there were some creepy scenes, it was impossible to care for a main character who was so poorly developed. He was so disinteresting that I couldn't wait to see him shredded to pieces. And I mean, come on, a closeted Hollywood screenwriter. In 2024? I just couldn't get past it. Honestly, it felt like it was written by AI. There's SO much good horror writing out there, you can do better.
