If there's one thing you can except from every Roxy Collins novel it's a fresh, new take on an established trope/sub-genre. A KISS TO HEAL is no different. This book is the first in a trilogy, not a series of interconnected standalones, and she takes you on an immersive journey from the first page. The amount of information, character growth, and plot progression that is shared in this novel is mind boggling and falls together naturally.

Roxy's characters never disappoint in their individuality and backstories. In A KISS TO HEAL, readers will be met with complex characters and tragic backstories that weave together a larger plot that only *begins* to unfold in book one. Jane is relatable and empowering, growing with every new circumstance thrown her way. The MMCs are so distinctly unique (and incredibly yummy). As they reveal more about themselves and rearrange their priorities to account for Jane, you can't help but fall in love with each of them. (Personally, you can consider me the president of the Travis and Luke fan clubs because those two boys are going to be the END of me.)

With a peak behind the curtain of what's to come, Roxy takes no prisoners as we all fall head first into Sentinel Academy and begin to unravel everything we thought we knew. I can't wait to hear what you think.

A few of my favorite quotes:
- Dedication: To all the girls who believe you can kiss it better.
- Kissing me is a dangerous habit to have.
- “Because if I don’t get another taste of you, I think I’m gonna die.”
- I know that if we were closer, if we were skin-to-skin, I could take him into my body the way he’s taking me, and I would never let anyone harm him again.
- “I want to fix everything that hurts you.”
- ...letting Travis into my mouth is like finding my way home.
- “You taste like them, and you, and it’s enough to drive me crazy.” “All of us together,” I whisper.
- I can feel the same emotions stirring inside me as when Avery was hurt. The need to shield him from the world, even though he’s sitting here in literal armor.
- Because from the moment she opened those dove-gray eyes and looked in my direction, I’ve been wrestling with the conviction that the safest place for her is here. With me.
- “You want us all to look after you, baby?...Maybe tend you through a heat and give you a pretty necklace of pack bites. Would you like that, Jane?”
- Ours to cherish. Ours to protect.
-“This is what we’re fighting to protect...No matter what it takes, no matter who we have to go through, we protect her like we’re pack.” “Like pack,” the others echo.
