A solid short story collection. The stories managed to be meditative and very reflective of our current climate, especially for many men. I did skip one of the stories for my own personal reasons, but the rest that I read were solid from start to finish, if they did leave me wanting a bit more. I picked up this book after reading Crypt of The Moon Spider, and I am once again pleasantly surprised by Ballingrud's writing.
