Bride by Ali Hazelwood
2.0
You all LIED to me.
The book was good but it was not as impressive as so many of the bookstagrammers and bookmakers made it out to be. I went in blind, only know it was a werewolf/vampire enemies to lovers.
It is NOT an enemies to lovers. At no point do they even pretend to be enemies. Just because their species are at odds does not make them enemies.
Vampire is spelled vampire which made this feel like a Wattpad story. Werewolves have green blood. This is also a more modeler story but no one understands how computers and basic reproduction works. It felt like one plot hole after another.
The spice was ok but you only get that in the last 50 pages so is it really worth it when the plot is dull?
I understand where Hazelwood was going with this one...it had potential but I didn't even get remotely interested until 220 something pages. That is WAY too long for a book to become interesting.
