After finishing my 10th listen of the TAZ Balance story, it was finally time to crack open the graphic novels. I know the story, I know the characters, I know what happens. But, as it is with revisiting the podcast nearly once a year, I feel something new and frighteningly beautiful every time. No collective piece of literature/media has made me traverse the broadest spectrum of emotions quite like the TAZ universe. No one makes me cry like the Tres Horny Boys. It was so cool to see their story displayed in a new, slightly adapted per copyright law, and refreshing way.
No, nothing is ever going to be like listening to these dudes play that game for the first time together. Nothing will ever come close to listening to this epic masterpiece unravel, episode by episode. But this did a damn good job.
