Welcome to Camp Slither (Goosebumps Horrorland #9) by R.L. Stine
3.0
Boone and his sister love animals, so when they get to spend their summer at an animal camp, they’re super excited. But when the camp is taken over by snakes, they start to question what’s really going on at this camp. If you don’t like snakes, this one is not for the faint of heart. This had so many snakes it made the reader squeamish. The plot was fast-paced and had the reader invested from start to finish. The characters were so well thought out and each had a purpose that moved the story. This one was super short, but it wasn’t bad; it was very concise and got straight to the point, which this reader enjoyed. The Horrorland part of the story has definitely developed since we last saw all the kids. They all want answers, and it was nice that Boone felt confused because it made for a good refresher as to who was who because the characters are blending together. It’s been a fun and the reader can’t wait to continue our journey through Horrorland.
