I’m a fan of when the shorter person in the relationship is way more dominant, like they’re a sexy short mafia boss with their tall buff bodyguard walkin’ around. Amazing trope.
And usually I’m not a fan of age gap, but when the younger one is 25 (old enough to rent a car, therefore very wise and capable), has a college degree, and is more dominant all around, then it feels sexy, not predatory.
The ending felt a little rushed at the end, like the author was champin’ at the bit to just start the next book. But I love where it ended… with the exception that Matti Jalo is STRAIGHT!? I was hoping he’d get a book! How dare.
