Tre saker jag inte vet om dig by Cecilia Falk, Julie Buxbaum

Just because you're strong doesn't mean you shouldn't ask for help sometimes. Remember that.

I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH ALL OF MY HEART

I bought this book at a sale and thought it seemed emotional and like a sweet romance. Who would have thought that this book would become one of my favorite books ever?

After Jessie's mother has passed away her whole life is turned upside down. Both she and her father is drowning in grief until that day — 2 years after her mother's passing — when she finds out that her father has met someone new.

She is forced to leave everything familiar behind (and with that her best friend Scarlett) when 16 year old Jessie and her father moves to Los Angeles. There they move in with her father's new wife Rachel and her teenage son Theo. Jessie has never felt more lost.

At school everyone seems to be from another planet with their wealth and different view on life. Like a knight in shining armour she receives message from Somebody/Nobody aka SN who offers to be her guide at school, there's only one catch, he won't tell her who he is and will only give her advice through mails and chat messages.

This story is absolutely beautiful, Buxbaum describes grief and loss in a way that is heartbreaking and realistic which makes my heart ache for Jessie and SN. But the way towards healing and finding new paths in life gives the book a touch of hope and the feeling that things are going to get better.

Jessie is definitely one of the most real and relatable characters I have ever read about and her story will forever have a place in my heart. Even though SN is anonymous I felt strongly for him and his and Jessie's relationship seems unique and real even though they get to know each other through messages in a chat. Definitely a new OTP.

SN, Ethan and Theo are all such nice and caring guys even though it might not look like it in the beginning (not including SN, he's a sweetheart from the very start), I love how Buxbaum didn't write the typical girl-falls-in-love-with-the-bad-boy thing and that she instead went for a trope that I actually like = girl-falls-in-love-with-the-sweet-guy-instead-of-the-one-who-threats-her-as-trash.

This book didn't have as much details (when it comes to appearances and environment-descriptions) as I usually like but for once that didn't bother me. The story itself was interesting and captivating enough that I barely noticed that I could use a detail or two more.

My sum up for this review is simply...

PROTECT JESSIE AND SN AT ALL COSTS
THEY DESERVE THE WORLD
