I want to thank @netgalley Alix E. Harrow and the publishers for the opportunity to read Starling House I will give it my honest review.
This book got me at a slow start, In all, it was a very interesting plot.
For a Horror type of book, I got my interest in following the story to solve enigmas coming from the thoughts of our main character.
This book had so many quotes staling a gasp from me.
Like:
‘He told me Hell was real, and so were its demons.’.
It was hard to like the main character, I didn't feel attached to her unfortunately, but I understood her struggles and her reasons for all her decisions.
