The Dark Tower by Stephen King

5.0

What a perfect ending to any absolutely zany and wild story. Yes, I read the CODA ending, not the cop out one. And I’m so glad I did. To call it “epic” is not even a strong enough word. As others have warned me, now I immediately want to start over from the beginning. Ka is a wheel.

One of my biggest Stephen King criticisms is that he doesn’t often end his stories well, and this was certainly an exception. The deep labored connection to King himself made it evident that this saga had haunted him for decades.
