Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin

5.0

I've always loved the film, and it's spooky season, so what better time to finally read this book? And as expected, I adored it! There's so much more to the story in this format! And Rosemary, thank God (Satan?) comes off as quite a bit smarter here! Her naivety in the movie always seemed so extreme. I especially enjoyed the longer ending and Rosemary's little cabin trip, they add so much more interest! As expected for the time period, there were some elements that have aged rather poorly, but nothing too terrible, which was a relief. Now the question is, do I read Son of Rosemary, too?
