so i guess nicola yoon's books just aren't for me. sure, the writing was pretty, but the characters were just so flat and pretentious and cringe-worthy for me. the romance was unbelievable, even. also, a lot of things in this book didn't make sense and the ending was honestly one of the stupidest things i've ever read
