A Killing Cold by Kate Alice Marshall
3.5
⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
I’m a big thriller fan, especially when I can't predict the plot ending (which we all know we can more often than not). The set up is great, that slow build up that lets you know there is clearly something it's working up to but you don't know what to expect. The ending was great and more surprising than I anticipated. However, it's the middle of the book that made me almost put it down. It does drag. I understand the purpose of building suspense, but you also have to captivate the reader until the climax of the book which was tough for me here. I AM glad I finished it and was able to see the ending. Overall, it was worth the read.
