This book was INCREDIBLE! I loved the mix of the urban realm with the fantasy realm. The transition between the two was flawless. SK does a fantastic job world building - offering a uniqueness that was captivating. The she describes the locations and the people really makes you feel like you are there seeing it. The character development was great! One thing I loved the most is that I felt unsure who to trust just like Cate. The single POV really set this up beautifully and you learn as Cate does. Can’t wait to dive into book 2!
