This book was just overflowing with goodness!! The best kind of coming of age story that will pull at your heart strings. It gave footloose vibes (who doesn’t love footloose??) but with a much spicier plot. This was a small town, fast burn, preacher’s daughter, forbidden boyfriend’s brother romance. As I said before, literally overflowing with trope goodness. Now minor spoiler, there is a little over lap between relationships here, so if reading about a touch of cheating taints a novel for you then keep scrolling bookinsta for another book. We don’t like what we don’t like!

Sarah’s father is the pastor in her small town. She’s dating the golden boy, Matt, who her family adores. She’s on track to live a life a humble life as a Christian married mother, watching Matt chase his dreams. When her boyfriend’s bad boy brother comes back to town- everything changes. Isaac pushes her to follow HER dreams as a singer, to test the boundaries that have been set by her strict father, and to fight for what (and who) she loves.

This story touches on friendship, loss, love, and family. The sound track is fire. You’ll cry. You’ll finish the book with a smile, but will be sad it’s over. I loved it so much!! Oh and it’s on kindle unlimited so what more could you ask for?
